OLIVIA & XAVIER'S countryside wedding

In 2018 we were delighted to be invited to cater for Olivia & Xavier’s countryside wedding. Studio Sorores came to us with this beautiful wedding, and we worked with the couple and their team to create a bespoke menu for this alfresco summer wedding.

Canapés roamed the champagne reception and guests were delighted with Tuna Tataki, Miso, Soy and Black Onion Seeds; Sun Blushed Tomato Mousse, Goats Curd & Olive Crumb; and Baked Feta with Ras El Hanout & Za’atar Crostinis. Not forgetting the Oysters that guests could add their taste of Mignonette, Fresh Lemon or Tabasco to, to heat up their evening!

Dinner was a menu of Burrata with a Toasted Fennel, Wild Garlic and Basil Pesto & Heritage Tomatoes; Fillet of Beef with Triple Cooked Chips, Mizuna Salad, Roasted Cherry Tomatoes, Buttered Spring Greens and Bearnaise Sauce; Chocolate and Hazelnut Tart, Aerated Chocolate, Hazelnut Crumb and Vanilla Ice Cream.

The Highlights

The menu was both traditional and innovative, interactive and elegant; a true delight to plan and execute. From a champagne reception with roaming oyster shuckers, live smoking stations and canapés to begin the festivities; to a delicious 3-course plated dinner; a wonderfully British cheese station followed for guests to graze on while partying the night away under the fairy lights.
