Hampton Court Palace has a huge range of event spaces, from intimate historic rooms to vast outdoor marquee sites.
The Palace’s Great Hall and State Apartments each accommodate up to 400 people for drinks or receptions and 270 for seated dinners.
The Cartoon Gallery can accomodate 300 for a standing reception or around 200 for dinner, while he Garden Room suits 300 for a reception and180 for dinner.
Smaller historic rooms such as the Great Watching Chamber, King’s Guard Chamber and Little Banqueting House hold anywhere from 60 to 200 guests, depending on setup.
For very large celebrations, marquees in the Palace Grounds can host up to about 3,000 guests for drinks, 1,650 for seated dinners and 1,000 for dinner dances, and courtyard marquees around 1,200 for receptions. Capacities depend on configuration and whether you use indoor salons, garden terraces or bespoke outdoor structures.
