This magnificent grade 1 listed building, originally built in 1739 by architect george dance the elder, is the home and office of the lord mayor of the city London.

The Palladian-style building offers a spectacular setting for a business meeting, civic or livery function, conference, reception, or dinner. It also houses a remarkable plate and art collection. A choice of event space is available on both the first and second floors for private hire and exclusive use. With flexible room configurations, Mansion House can be tailored to suit gatherings from 10 to 500 guests. The Egyptian Hall, inspired by the classical Roman architect Vitruvius’s vision of a Roman structure in Egypt, provides a striking setting for a dinner with up to 360 guests at a single long table.

Event Spaces at the Mansion House

There are versatile event spaces available on both the first and second floors, with a number of rooms and layout options available for all occasions and celebrations of all sizes. The largest, The Egyptian Hall which is based on designs by the classical Roman architect Vitruvius of Roman buildings in Egypt, can host dinners for up to 350 guests.

The Egyptian Hall

The largest event space in Mansion House, the Egyptian Hall, lends itself to a variety of uses—whether for a banquet, reception, conference, film shoot, or fashion show. Situated on the first floor, the hall also connects seamlessly with the adjacent Drawing Room and Salon area.

As the ante-room to the Egyptian Hall, the Salon offers an ideal setting for a networking reception, an exclusive dinner, or a lunch service during a large conference. It adjoins the Drawing Room and Long Parlour and is also well-suited for a televised address.

The Drawing Rooms

The Old Ballroom
