London Marathon

We are proud to have delivered a spread of nutritionally fuelling and delicious food and drink at the Finish Line Hospitality for TCS, at the TCS London Marathon 2022.

The high-end networking area provided a space for guests to eat, drink, and connect, as well as accommodate recovering runners. The viewing structure, which ran along the final length of the course, allowed spectators to get close to the action and cheer on the runners in their final few steps.

Designed with the route of the London Marathon in mind, we created the 26.2 Mile Menu, using suppliers along the route, championing London producers and ingredients, the menu reflects the best of London. Take a look below to see the concept design and the final menu.


The Menu

On 2nd October we catered for TCS, Tata Consultancy Services, at the finish line of the London Marathon. From breakfast through to desserts, we made sure every craving was covered for exhausted runners, spectators and supporters.

After a breakfast of fresh pastries, fruit and Social Pantry granola & yoghurt. Canapés and bowl food circulated the hospitality tent, with bowls of buttermilk fried chicken, red cabbage & fennel slaw with black garlic mayo, and nibbles of wild mushroom & lovage pesto ‘sausage’ roll; cornish cod with crushed peas & tarragon tartare sauce and fries; and miso marinated aubergine burgers, visitors were sure not to go hungry while cheering on the marathoners.

When the runners rolled in, we rolled out the pasta bar, perfect for carb loading. With freshly cooked pasta the Social Pantry served up grilled vegetable creste de gallo; slow cooked meatballs with shaved parmesan and capellini spaghetti; and pesto penne with freshly grated parmesan and basil.

With energising drinks on offer all day, freshly made smoothies and cold pressed juices guests were kept happy and refreshed. And to ensure everyone ended the day on a high, exercise induced endorphins or not, we provided the sugar rush with a dessert station comprising of the softest jam doughnuts, decadent double chocolate brownies, red velvet cupcakes, zingy lemon cheesecakes and classic scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream.
