Each offers a mix of historic charm, modern amenities, and unbeatable, easy-to-reach locations.

We’ve chosen a mix of historic and modern conference venues; large, small and mixed spaces; venues with breakout spaces and some with outdoor areas. All of these hybrid venues are in either central or East London, with easy access via public transport.

Woolwich Works

Woolwich Works is a major cultural hub and arts centre located on the River Thames in the historic Royal Arsenal site. Alongside hosting a diverse roster of performances, events and community activities, the vast, multi-space venue can be privately hired. It offers a range of options for corporate conferences and away days of different sizes.

The largest, most impressive space is the Fireworks Factory. It has a 1,500 square metre floor space and modern technical infrastructure including comprehensive audio and bespoke lighting systems. This makes it ideal as a conference venue and for presentations for up to 1,200 people, theatre-style.

Another popular space for meetings and away days is Beanfeast. This space takes its unusual name from a national holiday proclaimed by King George during his 1773 visit to the site. This riverside room with exposed brick walls and restored sash windows overlooks the Thames, accommodating up to 170 guests theatre-style. In addition to these, there are several other rooms of differing sizes, plus a large courtyard. These options make Woolwich Works an ideal conference venue for those wanting to host presentations, meetings and activities in different areas.

As for location, the site is easily reachable, at just five minutes’ walk from both Woolwich station (Elizabeth Line), Woolwich Arsenal station (DLR and mainline trains). It’s also a short DLR ride away from London City Airport, making it a great option for international visitors.
