We’re on a journey to become the first zero-waste caterer

It’s not going to happen overnight but we’re taking steps, day by day, to make change. Nash recently joined the team as our sustainability consultant. We are so excited to have her on board and push the boundaries in the catering and hospitality space to ensure we are offering a conscious service.

These days, seasonal menus are an expectation now for any food business – and rightly so. Our food is guided by the seasons, and we invest a lot of time into creating menus that use the best produce, locally available to us. We also champion circular economies and zero waste initiatives so our menus are developed with this in mind, incorporating nose to tail, and root to leaf dishes.

Snapshot of other things we’re doing to be more sustainable:
  • Zero waste menu, events packages, and supper clubs
  • Focus on fresh, local, seasonal produce
  • Regular supplier sustainability reviews
  • Incorporation of B-Corp certified products in our range
  • Plastic-free drinks across all sites
  • Reusable and hired event decor
  • High-welfare advocates
  • Fairtrade and ethically sourced hot beverages
  • Used coffee grounds donation to local wormery and eco-beauty product company
  • Part of the Too Good To Go food waste prevention app scheme
  • Ex-offender employer
  • Coffee roasted in UK prisons by Redemption Roasters
  • Sustainability messaging on site and across our social media platforms
  • Effective sustainability training for all employees and new starters
